With the approach of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, F.lli Mauri supported the creation of an Inclusive Winter Lab: an initiative dedicated to young people with disabilities that brings together sport and immersive technologies, hosted at the Lecco Campus of Politecnico di Milano.
From January 26 to 30, 2026, participants had the opportunity to experience Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality, using simulators to try out disciplines such as skiing, bobsleigh, biathlon, archery, billiards, and bowling—all within a safe, inclusive, accessible, and highly motivating environment.
From training cognitive skills to strengthening self-esteem, the Lab represents a legacy that goes beyond this year’s Games: a model that promotes a more inclusive approach to sports participation.
